Hello family, friends, and strangers . . .

First of all I want to say thank you to those who have helped me prepare for this adventure. I wouldn’t be able to do this without you and I am so incredibly grateful for all of you! Whether you have helped with funding, helped by continuously praying for me and the team of wonderful people that I will have the privilege to call my family for the next two months, or prayed over my education, your support has been beyond helpful. As the day that we leave draws nearer and nearer I grow more enthusiastic! We have 10 days before we are supposed to be in Georgia for training camp.

I would like to make one last final request though . . .

Prayers, prayers, prayers!!

Please, please pray that each of the members of the team (Anna, Emmalee, Jala, Hannah B., Garret, Anne-Marie, Terasa, Atalia, Meredith, Jennasey, Ellie, Makenzie, Katherine, Jackie, & Hannah T.) are able to safely reach Georgia in time.

Please pray that we will have safe travels as we go from one place to another in the countries we are in, as well as between the countries we travel too.

Please also pray that we all stay healthy while we are traveling (mainly COVID-19 free).

Please also pray that any members of my team who have not been fully funded are able to achieve that goal so that they can continue on in the journey that we all started months ago.

I also would like to say thank you to a few individuals as well who have really encouraged me and helped me so much throughout this entire process.

To Mom & Dad, thank you for your never-ending love & support through all of this. When I first found out about the trip you two were the ones who told me that I should seriously consider it and pray about it. And then when God told me that I needed to do this you both were still right there.

To my brother, Elijah, and my sister, Rysa, you two are the greatest best friends that I have ever had and I am so grateful for the support you both have given me, especially when you both try and make me laugh to help ease the anxieties I have about the trip. You both have no idea how much I’ll miss you guys while I’m gone.

To Keith & Trent, thank you both for your mentorship, for asking me about prayer requests, and for checking up on me as I have been going through this journey.

To Grandpa G. & Grandma J. thank you for the prayers and for reminding me of the importance of being faithful to the Lord.

To Annette & Bob, thank you both for always being a great presence in my life and giving me such great advice and constantly showing love towards my siblings and myself.

To Lauren, Sophie, Jessica, & Ashley thank you for being encouraging in my pursuit towards being able to go on this journey. I couldn’t ask for better friends than you four!

To Joe, David, Big Fur, and the rest of the PBC YG, thank you so much for allowing me to continue to join you all on Sunday’s in worshipping and getting to know the Lord better together.

Helen Keller once said “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” I am incredibly grateful that I have so many people walking alongside me during this adventure, because without all the people who have helped me over the past few months this trip wouldn’t even be a possibility for me. I am so excited and ready to go to Costa Rica and Guatemala to serve others.
